]]> Join us in welcoming Okki Berendschot, AIA, as Program Manager on the Catapult Design team! Okki is a trained architect with a master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in City Planning Design and Development. With roots in Holland and Brunei, Okki’s path has taken her across the globe. She’s studied architecture and city planning in New York and Cambridge, explored urban renewal in Brooklyn, and lived in Tokyo. Now based in Brooklyn, Okki is a map-loving, placemaking enthusiast who enjoys long-distance running, solo backpacking, and volunteering.

Okki makes it clear that she is always up for geeking out on urban policy, housing, transportation, health, sustainability, public art, and the history of places.

She’s just getting started at Catapult Design, but wow have we learned from her already!
